Salute To Veterans
November 5 & 6
This tribute to veterans of all wars takes place on Friday for school students and Saturday for the public. Friday's school program focuses on the civil war. Presenters and re-enactors will off students a hands on experience in history. Reservations are required. On Saturday the public is invited to visit the exhibits of civil war and other military memorabilia. Call 704-573-0726.

Christmas Tea
December
Come celebrate the season at the holiday tea in the Ashcraft Schoolhouse. It is a wonderful time to visit with friends, enjoy delicious treats and old time charm in the schoolhouse. Reservations are now being taken. Call 704-545-4928.

The Mint Hill Historical Society will be closed for the holidays from December 24 until January 2.

The Autumn Jubilee where local farmers offer their produce for sale and artisans and craftsmen gather to show visitors how to spin rabbit hair into yarn, milk a goat, play a game of horseshoes and more.

Salute To Veterans

A time to honor those who have protected the United States through their military service. Visitors learn the history of our country through demonstrations and exhibits.

Christmas Tea

Christmas Tea

A warm Christmasy ambiance fills the Ashcraft School House which is transformed into a tea room for the occasion. Costumed in 20th century dress, volunteers greet guests and usher them to decorated tables where they were served a variety of scrumptious savories and sweets.
