Mint Hill Picture Book
In honor of the 20th anniversary of the Mint Hill Historical Society, this photo book was created for the enjoyment of the citizens and friends of Mint Hill. The pages provide a glimpse into the lives of a few people and events that have shaped our community. Our hope is that it also inspires readers to recognize the value of recording history. The Preservation Committee recognizes the owners of homes who have made great effort to preserve the history of their home. The first Preservation Award was directed to Catherine Curlee for her restoration efforts on this 1900’s home.
The Historical Society’s mission to preserve history includes recording oral histories which are available for checkout in the library program.
The Historical Society publishes a quarterly newsletter.
