The excitement is building as the Mint Hill Historical Society, in partnership with the South Carolina High School Rodeo Association, presents the 7th Annual Mint Hill Rodeo! Mark your calendars for Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26, 2025, and head to the McWhirter Rodeo Arena at 8201 Bartlett Road for two days of heart-pounding rodeo action. Whether you’re a lifelong fan of the sport or looking for a fun, family-friendly weekend activity, this event is sure to deliver.

Friday night kicks off with gates opening at 6 p.m., giving you time to grab a seat, enjoy refreshments, and take in the rodeo atmosphere before the main event at 8 p.m. The fun continues on Saturday, with gates opening at 9 a.m. The day starts with Junior competitions at 10 a.m., followed by the Slack Competition at 3 p.m., and wraps up with another thrilling main event at 8 p.m.

Admission is $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 4–12. Kids 3 and under get in free, making this an affordable outing for the whole family. Please note: this is a cash-only event, held rain or shine, with no refunds and no dogs allowed for the safety of all guests.
